Tim’s Place.

Today my staff and I went to Tim’s Place for lunch.  In case you aren’t aware – “Tim” is Special Olympics athlete Tim Harris, and his “Place” is a new restaurant in Albuquerque tagged as “The World’s Friendliest Restaurant Now Open for Breakfast, Lunch, and Hugs.”  There’s a lot behind the concept of this restaurant, and you can learn more about it by going on the website – TimsPlaceABQ.com.  However, I am choosing to share my thoughts about how it felt to be there.

I will start with welcoming, warm, friendly, refreshing, inspiring, inviting, upbeat, happy, encouraging, and fun.

The food was great, but going to a place that connected all of us who were in there was even greater.  As for the hugs from Tim – it’s what it’s all about.
